Hi there. I wanted to thank you again for the amazing experience you provided to the girls on Monday. Shelby, Molly and Emily were absolutely overwhelmed with joy and confidence after the day with you and Jens.

In particular, I appreciated how gentle and patient you were with these budding musicians, and for the care and effort you put into trying to cut a reasonable CD from the tracks they laid down. This was a pivotal day for these girls; your support, encouragement and respect for them as artists has set the bar (very high) for the kinds of relationships and people they will choose to work with as they move ahead in their careers and their lives. Your guidance and coaching were exactly at the level that they needed to get a better sound, but without pushing them beyond their limits or judging their skills, sensibilities, etc. They are sweet kids and they might even end up doing music together more formally. If they do, they will have you to thank for giving them the opportunity to work in a professional atmosphere of mutual respect, acceptance, patience, hard work, and strife for excellence. I just really can't thank you enough for this gift; no words can really express my gratitude.

I also wanted to specifically tell you that the girls recognized how hard Jens worked to help bring some coherence and complexity to their simple tunes. They were thrilled to have such a hip and skilled drummer who "got it". They were honored that Jens was so respectful of their work and that he tried hard to lay down the drums in a way that would meet and enhance their vision.
